About Us
Newcastle Service Centre is a start-up, which was created by the owner of Newcastle Roadside Assistance when he realised how many people, when broken down next to the road, do not know where to take their cars to be fixed, and didn’t have a regular mechanic of choice. You can say that Newcastle Service Centre was born out of Newcastle Roadside Assistance, which have a much more interesting start.
The owner, Andre decided that he did not want to work for a boss anymore, being a Diesel Mechanic for a large mining company, and before that, many Service Manager roles. he bought an old Holden Combo van and filled it up with batteries, which was the start of Newcastle Roadside Assistance, which quickly grew to now being one of the biggest Roadside Assistance Companies in Newcastle, with a few vans, and tow trucks on the road.
Newcastle Service Centre completed our so-called “supply chain”, of being in the Roadside Assistance Business, and having tow trucks, and therefore, now being able to tow people who is broken down to our own workshop.
Our Workshop Manager, Jacob Sheffield, started in the business as a Roadside Mechanic, with over 10 years of workshop experience as well, and we saw it fit to have Jacob as our Workshop Manager and deliver excellent customer service and excellent quality workmanship to each and every customer that walks through our doors.
Our motto for Newcastle Service Centre is not to be the cheapest mechanic in Newcastle, but we would want our customer service and workmanship to be the best you will find in Newcastle and its surroundings. We would like our customers to feel confident that we have fulfilled their needs, and we would like to build a great trusting relationship with our customers, to be their go-to mechanic for service needs they have with their vehicles.
